Due AI

Terms of service

Last updated 28 August 2026

Who you are contracting with

Due AI is provided by NewApp UÜ, registry code 17496442, registered at Mõraoja 13, 62113 Tartumaa, Estonia. Contact: newapp@newappsupport.com.

By downloading Due AI, creating an account, or subscribing you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Due AI estimates. It does not certify.

This is the most important thing on this page.

Due AI predicts when food is likely to stop being good, based on printed dates, typical storage life, and how you have used similar items before. It cannot see, smell, or test anything in your kitchen. A date shown in the app is an estimate, not a statement that food is safe to eat.

Always use your own judgement. If food looks, smells, or tastes wrong, throw it away regardless of what Due AI shows. Follow the storage and use-by instructions on the packaging, and the food safety guidance of your local authority. Use-by dates in particular are a safety instruction and Due AI does not override them.

To the fullest extent Estonian law allows, NewApp UÜ is not liable for illness, loss, or damage arising from food you chose to eat or discard. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Businesses using Due AI

If you use Due AI in a café, restaurant, or other food business, it is a planning aid and nothing more. It does not replace your HACCP plan, your temperature records, your statutory food-safety obligations, or inspection by the authorities. You remain fully responsible for compliance.

Changes to the service

We may add, remove, or alter features as Due AI develops. We will give reasonable notice before withdrawing something you rely on, and you will be able to export your data first.

Your account

Your content

Your food entries, photographs, and lists remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing your entries, processing receipt images, and generating your suggestions. We do not claim ownership and we do not sell your content. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Our content

The Due AI app, this website, and the name and branding belong to NewApp UÜ. You may use the service, but not copy, resell, or rebrand it.

Price and billing

Due AI is a paid subscription: $8.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Prices are in US dollars and may be shown in your local currency by the App Store.

Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account, not by us. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours beforehand. You manage and cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you have already paid for ends.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by NewApp UÜ. If a price changes, Apple will ask you to agree before the new price is charged.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases; where Apple is the seller, that right is exercised through Apple.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or shut the service down entirely — with reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data, except where a serious breach makes that impossible.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes go to the courts of Estonia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Due AI after that means you accept the new version.
